I met storm in the summer of 2008 at my first positive horsemanship course at the ISPCA centre. I’m not sure which of us was more apprehensive of the other but somewhere during those two days a little bit of magic happened and Storm and I began to trust each other and work together to develop a bond based on mutual respect and understanding. We both learned so much during the two days and I will never forget the feeling of achievement when that scared little pony took his first step toward me and his soft nose brushed my hand.

The ISPCA do fantastic work rehabilitating such traumatized animals and to be a part of helping them on the road to recovery was an amazing privilege. Thank you Storm and thank ISPCA!
