Hope was rescued on the 1st of February 2011. Hope is a bay mare, she is approx 12 years old and is very gentle and friendly. Poor Hope was found abandoned in a field. Hope was very weak when she was found. She was suffering from starvation and dehydration. It's awful how people do that to horses. Hope is trying to recover and regain her strength. It will be a long time but hopefully now she's a lot better, as it's been 21 days since she's been rescued.

At Hope's first week at the IHWT she was making good progress. Theres a long way to go before she is recovered but by now I'd say she'd be stronger. Hope loves her daily grooming and pampering. Everybody at the IHWT love Hope.
