If you’re looking for a family fun day out then look no further than Limerick Racecourse on Sunday 1st April for the McMahons.ie Family Fun Day. Our action packed programme of activities has something for everyone, from thrilling outdoor adventures to bouncy castles for the little ones, to fun party games.Amidst 7 great National Hunt races there will be fun for the whole family to enjoy. With face-painting, pony rides, colouring, puppet shows, treasure hunt, games and much much more, children will be spoiled for choice at the racecourse. With Kids Party Club providing the entertainment, the show starts with some cool kid’s magic tricks followed by a brilliant and unique puppet show and then a fun kids disco. There are also more chart oriented discos for older children. The feature race on the day is the Grade 2 Hugh McMahon Novice Chase.
Don’t forget to enter the fabulous Children’s colouring competition, where the best two entrants will receive a Party Tent and Camping Equipment for the whole family to enjoy. So tell the kids to pick up those crayons and get colouring! Details will be available on www.limerickraces.ievery soon. The winners must be available to attend the races on the day to claim their prize. Children can also dress up in Fancy Dress on the Day and enter the Fancy Dress competition to win some lovely prizes. Gates open from 12:30pm so make sure you arrive early to enjoy all that is on offer on the day.
Children also dine for FREE if you book the Family Fun Buffet Lunch. Enjoy admission to the races, access to the Panoramic Restaurant, reserved seating for the day, racecard, 2 course buffet lunch with tea/coffee all for only €40 per person.
