About Us
Allhorse.ie was established in May 2009 to source everything equine but more importantly to help raise vital funds for charities rescuing horses and donkeys in Ireland. Not only do we aim to highlight the work of these organisations but we also want to assist in any way possible by including lots of information on horse care. Our incentive to fundraise for these charities stemmed from one little mare who was found tied up, emaciated and abandoned in Ireland and thankfully rescued by one of the organisations we support. She is now fully recovered and enjoying life in her new home.
Whilst we run regular prize draws and competitions to encourage donations to any charity helping horses and donkeys, we hope our online classified ads system will become our primary method of fundraising for these charities as €1 for every paid ad is donated to a charity on our list. Charges for advertising were only introduced on 7th March 2011 when the site was relaunched following extensive development. We hope it will be possible to increase the amount we donate as the site becomes busier in the future but we are relying on your support to make this work. On average 200 paid equine adverts are uploaded daily to various sites in Ireland alone. If we can obtain a fraction of this market it will result in significant funds raised for charities now full to capacity with abandoned equine. We hope everyone will join forces and we plead with the main industry bodies to help us achieve our goal.
We hope you will help us spread the word. Allhorse should capture the interest of any horse person as its not all about classifieds, theres competitions, events and numerous forums with lots of educational and/or entertaining videos, articles etc with many topics of interest and oodles of fun stuff too.
Its for all horse people with a passion for horses! You can help horses in need by using Allhorse or donating directly to one of these charities DONATE NOW
Thank you to everyone supporting us, we couldn't do it without you.
